Beyond Words

This zine was created at the beginning of my senior year as part of the thesis development process. My chosen topic—Arabic typography—reflects both my cultural identity and my passion for design as a bridge between languages. Through this zine, I introduced Arabic typography to a non-Arabic speaking audience, aiming to highlight its potential not just as a written system, but as a powerful visual art form. Each spread was carefully composed to balance linguistic content with graphic experimentation, using Arabic letterforms as expressive elements in layout, rhythm, and structure. This project is a celebration of language, form, and cultural storytelling through design.
